Ukraine’s CEC launches a new website
On September 3, 2019, Ukraine’s Central Election Commission (CEC) launched its new website, which can be accessed by the link – https://www.cvk.gov.ua/.
The new site was developed to ensure more effective communication with the CEC’s main target audiences, such as citizens, political parties, candidates, observers, and media. The site will become a primary information resource on the Commission’s activities, elections in Ukraine and relevant legislation.
The new mobile-friendly resource will also help to establish two-way communication with the CEC, allowing users to submit applications and complaints.
Unlike the previous version of the site, developed back in 2004, the new resource will also be available in English.
During the next month, the site will run in test mode, which will allow users to provide their input into the site development by submitting their feedback at email@example.com.
The site was developed with the support of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and is a part of a broader assistance program of the CEC funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), UK aid, and Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
